A Trusted Source of Cycling Science

Here is the thing:

While in 2000 only 56 studies about cycling performance were published, in 2010 they were 117 and even reached 246 (!) in 2020 (source Pubmed).

Selecting the ‘worth a read’ articles and translating their statistically presented data into effective real world action requires a significant amount of time investment and expertise.

After giving a trusted source of cycling science through the infographics on social media, many people asked us to expand the knowledgeiswatt project.

The new project

What you will get?

Every week a review and comment of a selected relevant research article about cycling performance:

  • Easy to read and understand

  • Only 3-5 minutes reading time

  • Translated into real world scenarios

Every new article goes directly to your inbox.

Who is it for?

  • Cycling coaches/sport scientists

  • Self-coached cyclists

  • Sports’ performance geeks

Even if the content is specific for cyclists, even people involved in other endurance sports (triathlon, running, rowing, skiing, …) can find valuable information and ideas to apply in their field.

How much is it?

  • 7.50 USD per month or 60 USD per year.

We think it is a fair price for what you get.

The vision

Of course scientific data are not all, especially in sport performance. Experience, empathy, and intuition certainly play a crucial role. However, if you are not aware of the continuously evolving research, you are missing a lot that you can combine WITH your experience.

Scientific research/data don’t substitute experience, empathy and intuition - they work together.

Thanks for being part of this journey! Spread with your team!
